This Account Deletion Policy explains how you can delete your YourLab account and what happens to your data when you do. YourLab is operated by Decto Healthcare Technology Private Limited.
How to Delete Your Account
- For Patients:
- Open the YourLab app and sign in.
- Open Settings from the side menu.
- Tap Deactivate My Account.
- Confirm by tapping Yes.
- Your account will be deactivated and you will be signed out.
- For Doctors:
- Open the YourLab app and sign in.
- Go to My Profile from the side menu.
- Scroll to Delete My Account and tap it.
- Enter your current password and confirm deletion.
- Deleting your doctor account is permanent.
- All pending appointments will be cancelled.
- Can't access the app?
If you cannot use the app, email us to request account deletion.

We will verify your identity before processing the request.
What Data We Delete
When your account is deleted or deactivated, we delete or anonymize account-linked data, including:
All Users
- Name, Email Address and Phone Number
- Address, City, State and Location Details
- Profile Photo
- Account Credentials and Authentication Tokens
- Appointment History linked to your account
- Reviews and Ratings submitted by you
- Referral and Agent-related data linked to your account
Patient Accounts
- Age
- Gender
- Date of Birth
- Blood Group
- Marital Status
- Height
- Weight
- Health Profile Information
- Symptoms submitted during appointment booking
- Health Notes
Doctor Accounts
- Specialization
- Qualification
- Experience
- Medical Registration / License Information
- Clinic Details
- Consultation Fees
- Consultation Schedule
- Professional Description
- Profile Information
What Data We May Retain
We may retain certain information where required for legal, regulatory, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes, including:
- Payment and Transaction Records (Amount, Date and Reference IDs)
- Records required to comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Information required for fraud prevention and dispute resolution
- Accounting and financial records required by law
- Aggregated or anonymized data that cannot identify you
Retention Period
Retained data is kept only for as long as required by applicable law and our legitimate business needs. After the required retention period, the data is securely deleted or anonymized.
Processing Time
In-App Deletion / Deactivation
Requests submitted through the YourLab mobile application are processed immediately after you confirm the deletion or deactivation request.
Email Requests
If you request account deletion via email, we will first verify your identity to protect your account. Once verification is complete, we aim to process verified account deletion requests within 30 days.
